Causeway Boat Launch
Located at the intersection of Highway 82 at the Louisiana/Texas border, this boat launch offers convenient access to both the Gulf of Mexico and Sabine Lake. Boaters can easily navigate between these water bodies for diverse fishing and recreational opportunities. The strategic location makes it an ideal starting point for aquatic adventures along the coast.
Blue Goose Trail
One mile paved walking trail through brackish marsh habitat, along levee with trees, to bank of Calcasieu Lake. Observation tower. Information kiosk & brochures available. Port-O-Let restroom.
Myers Landing RV Park
Myers Landing is a beautiful place to visit. Myers Landing is located on the Mermentau River near the Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge (in Lowry) and 8 miles SW of Lake Arthur, LA. Our sites are situated under huge live oak and pecan trees. Myers Landing has full hook-ups, rental cabins, boat launch, laundry and tent camping. Myers Landing is a great place for family; whether you are cooking-out, fishing, skiing, bicycling, relaxing, boating or playing a round of miniature golf. All that is missing is you and your family!
