About

About the Parish

Cameron Parish is located in the southwest most corner of Louisiana, the heel of the boot. Cameron Parish is the largest geographic parish in Louisiana with 1,313 square miles of land and 619 square miles of water. Cameron Parish is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico, Sabine Lake, Calcasieu Parish, Jefferson Davis Parish and Vermilion Parish. We have plenty to offer those with a love of nature! Whether you like to hunt, fish, or observe wildlife in their habitat, Cameron Parish is the place to visit! Home of the famous Creole Nature Trail, we invite you to stop in and stay a while!

The Cameron Parish Tourist Commission is charged with promoting visitation to our parish. We are advised by a Board of Directors.

Please see Agendas & Minutes for more information on Tourist Commission Meetings.
