Cameron Parish is home to the incredible Creole Nature Trail, it’s a perfect opportunity for spotting alligators, over 400 bird species, and other wildlife.

  • Alligator Festival

    Sponsored by St. Eugene Catholic Church. Always held the first Sunday in October. Little Mr & Miss Pageant, large variety of food, alligator skinning demonstration, music, silent and live auctions.

  • Cameron Saltwater Fishing Festival

    Sponsored by Cameron Lions Club. Always the first full weekend in August. Saltwater fishing rodeo, live music venues, good local food, children’s activities, Queen’s contest. Staged at end of Davis Road at the Cameron Jetty Pier Pavilion.

  • Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festivals

  • Marshland Festival

    Live music, great food, cold beverages, arts & crafts vendors – all set in the Lake Charles Civic Center. This non-profit festival raises funds for the various civic and school organizations of Hackberry.
